CAS(E) this sketch. #104

Really i don't know i am going to make another version of Thinking of you, using the same MFT

Here is the sketch

and here is my card.

Cityscape, thinking of you

I made this card to join the CAS(E) #102

now the sky... it is randomly blend between orange and red ink. thanks to my paper, it has random pattern on it so after the blending it makes lots of scratch marks. Near the building i reduce the orange and put some yellow ink. i used sponge to blend them. white line is produced by using alcohol swabs hahaha..... nearly torn my paper because it can't absorb wet

the building is die cut form MFT skyline border

I cover the windows with yellow paper on the back randomly, messy, as long as the windows are covered. i cut them accordingly to the length of the card (lesson learned, i should cut like this instead of separate them into parts)/ put adhesive on the 1st layer of building, put foam tape on 2nd layer of building to give dimensions, arrange them up and down  randomly as long as the windows are shown properly.

at the corner i stamped again randomly and messily butterfly image, i stamped the sentiment, (i forgot  where i got the stamps)

PS. don't ask me to recreate this card anymore because thou i am the maker but i can't recreate the same card .esp the sky.. i made this out of random idea and VERY ROUGH result as i learn my mistakes thru doing it

Summary what I did for this week.

I made 3 cards and 1 chalkboard tag .
the chalkboard tag is attached to the present for teacher's day
here is the tag before i attached to the present. i used black color poster paint to paint a 220 gsm Concorde cardstock. stamped the words using Versa Magic chalk ink Cloud white, i like the result because it gave a kind of used chalkboard and write it with chalk.

the present before i wrapped it up

after i wrapped and added the tag

Here is a card i do with lawn fawn Snow Day series. i made two actually but i just posted one here. Look at the corner of the card, it was ruined (T.T) because of the lousy corner puncher.

and another easy quick stamping from the same Lawn Fawn Snow Day series. For the hill, i used Lawn fawn Life is Good series stamp.

well that's all. sorry for my English. i hate to think too grammatically, and correct those tenses. LAZY!

MOJO challenge #370 n the paper players challenge #220

This time I combined 2 challenges blogspot into 1. Paper Players required a vintage or antique looks on my card, so I tried to make with the layout design from Mojomonday.blogspot.Com

and here is my card.

The butterfly stamp is from Maya Road. And the frame is from JustRite Sign of Life. I don't have distress ink so I used other brownish ink to blend the edges.

The quilling flower is handmade and I chose yellow , added some shabby and dirty looks on the surface. At least to give a little bit bright color on this dark card.

The Paper Player Challenge #219

here is the given sketch.

and here is the result.

had to admit that coloring is not my THING... the sentiment stamp I use is from Avery Elle. I dont know what this card is going to be, so i leave it in sort of 'hanging' sentiment and will stamp another sentiment on the other side of card when i know what it is for.

I hope i can join the other challenge from Paper Player/

Mojo Monday Card Challenge 369

Well. This is my 1st time I joined any card challenge, and this is the 4th card I had made so far.

Tall and Skinny card.

the card was made with the size 3.5" x 6" and with little room left for my paper bow tie and small sentiment.

I love making shaker cards so I decided to make 3 mini windows to make shakers with love punch out in each window. flowers at the base of windows. the punches are from EK success . The card is made with 160 gsm card stock (the yellow base card) and 200 gsm white card stock with orange skin pattern as the background.

This is the 1st card i ever made to join the challenge base on the sketch. well I certainly hope I can join on the next card challenge by Mojo.
